TNG Consulting Inc. is proud to announce the second release 4.0 (2022-04-01) of the GCWeb theme for Moodle LMS (learning management system). The purpose of this theme is to deliver the Government of Canada's Canada.ca presentation layer on e-learning platforms built on Moodle LMS versions 3.9 (extended LTS), Moodle 3.10 and 3.11 (extended support). It is already in use by several departments on Intranet and Public facing Moodle LMS sites in the Government of Canada.
Together, the open source Moodle LMS combined with the GCWeb theme make it possible for Government of Canada (GoC) departments and agencies to offer online e-learning experiences to employees and the public in order to empower them with the knowledge that they need - all without any licensing fees for users or courses.
This open source theme is based on the award winning WET-BOEW framework, specifically the CDTS GCWeb 4.0 theme for applications. This theme helps your Moodle site meet WCAG 2.0 level AA guidelines, include support for multiple language in addition to being aligned with Government of Canada (GoC)'s Canada.ca look and feel (Information Architecture Standard).

for Education and Training in the Workplace
TNG Consulting Inc. has started development of the GCWeb theme for Moodle 4.1 (LTS). In order to meet our goal of having it ready for November 2022, we are looking for volunteer contributors and financial supporters to help move this project forward.
