What is the difference between a coach and therapist?
A coach generally works with you on attaining future results. Therapists tend to examine your past. Your coach starts with the assumption that you already possess the ability to accomplish your goals. Ability may include skills or the ability to learn skills.
How does coaching work?
Depending your needs and our agreement, we will meet by telephone for two to four 30 minute sessions per month. How often, when, where, how we meet as well as the duration of our meetings can be customized to meet your needs.
We require a minimum two month commitment as it can take time to start to feel the momentum and see the results.
However our coaching services come with a 30 day money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the progress you are making by the end of our first 30 days of working together, let us know. If we are unable to address your concerns to your satisfaction, we will refund 100% of your money back to you.
Please note that no refund will be issued if you achieve your results sooner than expected however you may optionally continue working with your coach on other goals.
How do I choose a coach?
Coaching is a personal experience and I want you to have a great experience.
Here are a few tips:
- Always interview at least three coaches and then choose the one that seems to fit you best. This is about you.
- With very few exceptions, you would be wise to steer clear of any coaches who refuses to offer a free coaching strategy session, sometimes also referred to as a complementary or introductory) session.
- Ensure that the potential coach is committed to abide by a code of ethics and professional standards set out by the ICF.
What happens if I can't make it to my session?
In order for coaching to be effective, both the coach and the client must be committed to the process.
We understand that, from time to time, situations which are beyond our control can happen. That being said, our coaches do put time aside to work together with you and it is not always possible for us to fill your spot at the last minute.
You may reschedule a session from time to time subject to your coaches availability as long as you give us least 24 hours (1 business day) notice by email or by telephone. Cancelled sessions are not refundable.
How do I pay for the sessions?
Payment for the month must be made prior to your first session.
Additional individual laser focus sessions are available at an additional cost however, payments must still be in advance. These sessions have a higher cost and are not recommended unless you feel that you only need a session or two deal with a specific issue. You may modify your payment plan prior to making your next monthly payment.
Payments can be made by: Cheque, Interac e-transfer (Canada only), PayPal or by Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners). Details on your preferred method of payment will be provided to you.
